- From Islamabad: most of our Maldives packages list Islamabad as the starting and ending point. Flights connect through Dubai or Doha, and the total journey is about 8 to 9 hours.
- From Karachi: the shortest journey, about 8 hours via Dubai. The Veligandu package lists Karachi as a departure city.

What drives the price up: peak dates in December to March, Eid weeks, overwater villas and extra nights. What brings it down: travelling in the wetter months, choosing a beach villa instead of a water villa, and a shorter stay.

Fares: return economy fares change with the season. Published listings for 2026-27 show fares from about ₨164,000 return from Karachi on some dates and several times that on Gulf carriers in peak weeks. Treat these as a guide only, and ask us for a live quote for your dates.
Tip: book flights and the resort together. A resort that requires a seaplane transfer has fixed transfer windows, so choose flights that land in the morning or early afternoon. Seaplanes fly in daylight only.
Maldives Visa for Pakistani Passport Holders
You do not need to apply for a Maldives tourist visa before you travel. The Maldives government states that visitors of any nationality receive a free 30-day visa on arrival, with no advance application. The immigration officer has the final say.
Carry these at Malé airport:
- A passport with a machine-readable zone and at least one month of validity.
- A return ticket, or a ticket to your next destination, departing within 30 days of arrival.
- A confirmed hotel or resort booking, or proof of funds of at least US$100 plus US$50 for each day of your stay.
- The online Traveller Declaration, which Maldives Immigration asks all foreign visitors to submit before they fly. Check the official Maldives Immigration website for the current rule and timing.
Tourists may not work or do business on this visa. The 30-day visa can be extended by up to 60 days through the Department of Immigration and Emigration before it expires.
