Summer Route (June to October): Drive through Kaghan Valley, crossing Balakot, Naran, and the scenic Babusar Top (4,173m) down into Chilas or stay overnight in Naran.

Winter Route (November to May): Drive via the Karakoram Highway along the Indus River passing Besham and Dasu.
